Preferred that the candidate commutes from Staunton/Waynesboro/Augusta/Harrisonburg area (will service customers located mostly in that region)
Fire Safety Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
As a Fire Safety Field Service Technician, you’ll ensure our clients’ fire protection systems meet the highest safety standards.
- Perform testing, servicing, and inspection of fire extinguishers and suppression systems in accordance with NFPA standards.
- Respond promptly to service calls from various commercial and industrial clients.
- Complete accurate and thorough inspection reports.
- Efficiently troubleshoot and correct issues found on site during inspections or service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers, ensuring satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Fire Safety Field Service Technician Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (required).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check (required).
- Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
- Ability to work independently and manage a service route effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Prior experience in fire safety, fire extinguisher service, or a related field is preferred but not required- we will train you!
