Approximately 20-25 Hours per week. Once training is complete, you will set your own hours!

Job is performed onsite in Concord.

The embroidery technician will set up embroidery machines, select pertinent tools and materials, troubleshooting equipment, and ensure that all projects are completed to clients’ specifications. You will also be expected to carry out regular maintenance duties and provide creative advice. This includes vinyl cutting and using the heat press for t-shirt orders.

Requirements:

  • Artistic eye
  • Ability to lift and move boxes 30lbs or less.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Previous embroidery or heat press experience is not required.
  • Previous sewing experience is not required.
  • We will train you!

Embroidery Technician Responsibilities: 

  • Analyzing and understanding project specifications and clients’ needs before starting each embroidery project.
  • Maintaining records of embroidery proofs and logos.
  • Selecting the thread, fabric, hoops, and designs appropriate to each project.
  • Setting up machines and supervising the embroidery process.
  • Carefully read instructional manuals to ensure smooth troubleshooting and repair processes.
  • Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as required.
  • Providing suggestions regarding the design, placement, fabric and thread selection.
  • Keeping track of sales orders and updating records once per week.
  • Communicating with clients and ensuring that all orders are sent out in a timely manner.
  • Transport sewing orders to and from seamstress to be hemmed.
  • Order heat press transfers and complete t-shirt orders using heat press.
  • Order Vinyl and cut vinyl for customer orders.
  • Pull items from stock for orders as needed. Track and sort stock uniforms kept in shop. Update spreadsheet.
  • Create and submit proof to customers prior to each order.
  • Complete daily work log.
  • Check in custom shop shipments.
  • Write delivery receipts for orders completed.
  • Take pictures of completed work to use for social media.
