Babysitting Training

The HSI Child & Babysitting Safety (CABS) training pro gram is intended primarily for teenagers and others who are planning to provide babysitting services for young children and infants. The program includes instruction on the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and guidelines on how to recognize and handle problems that may occur. This program is not intended to meet any regulatory requirements for child care providers.
There are no prerequisites for taking the CABS program, but additional training in CPR, AED, and first aid is highly recommended.
The goal of this training program is to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effective ly supervise and manage children in their care.
